GM diet plan



Hey guys, 2 days back myself and my hubby started the GM diet plan, which i think is very popular among indians(as i searched the net and everywhere its indians only who did it...)..Both of us are actually not obese(don't dare compare with the above one, hehe..), but yep, we have some extra pounds, which we thought of shedding.., for me, its the extra post pregnancy weight (still there with me after 2 years) which i wanted to loose and for him, he's really a bit conscious to stay really fit......(actually i'm a lazy bones, its due to him only we are finally doing this...hehe).Regular exercising or gymming is not our cuppa tea.I had been trying to postpone this too for a few months, but finally with a subh mahurat , it did started....

Ooops...You all must be wondering what's this is all about, can see the links in the right section of the page(both veg. and non veg.versions).

Till now everything's going fine(though i already cheated once....:) ),and i think ,i already lost my appetite or can say carving for grains; first 2 days were a bit tough though,today i feel fine.My hubby's already reduced a bit and he's feeling good too, and as far as i'm concerened, still the same...hehe

I'll definately tell you all the end results.So not much cooking(read, nice n yummy cooking) this week..mostly the vegetable soup only...see u all....

One more thing, we got inspired from our friend,who really wanted to loose weight, and lost 3.5 kgs doing this (along with exercise),and finally reduced 10 kgs in 2 months.....

I started on this last week. I did very well the first day with all the fruits. But on second day, i had such a carb craving & gave in to have a slice of whole-grain bread. After the third day, I have been following it only very loosely & managed to lose about 2 lbs. Today is Day 7. For me the takeaway (apart from re-iterating my lack of willpower!) is that it is not hard to incorporate some healthy changes in eating habits. I plan to include more fruits & veggies in my diet from now on. A friend who started with me & was a little more religious in following it has lost 6 lbs as of today. Good luck to you 7 your hubby! :)

all d best..wish i had even half the willpower to do the same...dis plan seems to b very scary n difficult to follow...wht is the subtitute for chicken for vegetarians in this plan...n from where can i know more abt the plan...waiting 4 the reply...

i finally lost only 2 kgs, but my hubby lost 4 kgs(he was more accurate abt it,me with lots of cheatings...hehe),and u can see its veg version too, in the rt. side of my page....
on day five we had a bit of rice and the palak tofu..
i got to know abt it some internet community, by some health consious ladies, u ca get to know abt it a lot in internet...

I want to know if it worked for u?.. I want to try this diet.. but was u say starting it is the biggest probs... hehehe lets see what i do...Iam a bit plumpy... want to loose wait before i concieve....:P

nope it didn;t actually worked for me, as i am back to square one, means exact the same wt. as before, i think my body needs exercise to loose wt, any type, household work too...
But yep for my hubby it was really fine, he did it very easily, (n without any cheating),n finally lost 4 kgs..
So, first thing i think for gud results, u should be very strict with the plan, :) , hope the best for u, n do tell me the results...

Hi,

I tried the GM diet and believe me i have lost 6 kgs in the first week. my frnds say that i shud give a break to my body before i continue with the 2nd session.. Pls suggest what shud i do.

Hi I started the diet and lost 4 kgs. I struggle yesterday on day 4 but managed to go through. Today is day 5 but I don't think I can survive with just one rice cup and 8 tomatoes. I hate the soup. Anyone can give me ideas?
